Healthy Lives

Healthy Lives Team

Tower Hamlets' Healthy Lives Team supports schools across all areas of Healthy Eating, Oral Health, Physical Activity, Mental Health and Resilience, Drug Education and Relationships and Sex Education.

The Healthy Lives Team ensures an extensive programme of advice and support for schools is planned, delivered and evaluated.

The Healthy Lives Team supports schools to improve the mental and physical health of pupils, parents and school staff and reduce health inequalities borough wide.

During the current COVID-19 situation they are producing weekly Healthy Lives Updates - a Schools edition and a Families edition - that include links to activities and resources that promote healthy living and are relevant to teachers and parents. In addition they are providing a range of COVID-19 related advice and guidance.

Please contact Kate Smith, Head of Healthy Lives, at [email protected] if you would like further support or more information.

The latest updates are provided below and previous editions can be found on the Healthy Lives webpage.
